Here is a great recipe for homemade Chili. Chili is a favorite in the Southwest of America. Eat it with the homemade cornbread for a really amazing food experience.
1 medium sized onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 (16-ounce) cans red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
2 cans stewed or diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
2 to 3 tablespoons chili powder
(Sliced Jalepeno peppers too if you like it hotter)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon ground cumin
A sprinkling of oregano
(you can add some canned corn as well if you like)
Simply mix it all in a big pot and cook it for about 15 minutes on medium heat. Serve with lots of grated cheese on top. Be sure to try this with homemade cornbread. Woweee!
